Legendary rock-band A Day to Remember brought their ‘Least Anticipated Album’ tour to Phoenix, Arizona with and iconic lineup featuring Four Years Strong and The Story So Far.

Four Years Strong

Four Years Strong, a Worcester, MA based band that formed in 2001, kicked off the 24th show of the Least Anticipated Album tour from Headliners, The Story So Far and A Day To Remember at Desert Diamond Arena on July 10, 2024. The band kicked off their set with “Brain Pain” from their 2020 album with the same name, garnering incredible energy from the crowd. Mosh pits opened up and crowdsurfers made their way over the crowd in droves.

The rest of the set was eight songs of punching punk music and a band that really knew how to work a stage. Fans at the barricade were singing the songs back to the band, consisting of vocalists/guitarists Dan O’Connor and Alan Day, bassist Joe Weiss and drummer Jake Massucco, who were clearly feeding off the crowd’s energy and put on an incredible show.

The Story So Far

If you’re in tune with the current pop-punk scene, you know that the Story So Far is a staple band for most fans of the genre, so it’s no surprise that as the band took the stage, the crowd went wild. The San Diego based band started their set with “Big Blind” from their most recent album, “I Want to Disappear”. Even though the album had been out for less than a month, the crowd was so loud screaming every word to the song.

The rest of the set was sure to have songs that would please any fan of the band ranging from “High Regard” on their 2011 debut record, “Under Soil and Dirt, to more recent tracks such as “Keep This Up” from their 2020 album, “Proper Dose”. Through the entire set, crowdsurfers soared above the crowd and at one point, lead singer Parker Cannon encouraged fans to “open up the pit” to which they happily obliged.

A Day To Remember

A Day To Remember knows how to kick off their set with a bang. The Ocala, Florida based metal core icons began their set with confetti canons to “Sticks and Bricks” from their 2010 album, “What Separates Me From You”. What would follow this explosive start was an hour of head banging, moshing, and reminiscing to classic 2010s emo anthems.

Throughout the entire show, the set had no shortage of special effects. The band utilized fire, steam and other elements, making their performance not only musically exciting but visually as well. Crowdsurfing and mosh pits were constant and the crowd was signing every lyric of the song. Lead singer, Jeremy McKinnon was a rocket on stage, running from end to end through every song pointing and waving at the crowd who were eating up every moment of the night. The energy in the room did not ever waver.
